Lewis

Lewis has worked in the golf industry since 2018, beginning his career as a shop assistant with the ambition of turning professional. During this time, he discovered that his true passion lay in club fitting and helping golfers choose the right equipment, rather than coaching.

Working alongside a range of experienced professionals, Lewis developed a deep understanding of golf equipment and the small details that make a meaningful difference to performance. Those insights, combined with his own experience as a competitive golfer, form the foundation of GolfEx.

An avid player with a current handicap of +2.1, Lewis brings a rare blend of technical knowledge and real-world playing experience, ensuring every piece of equipment offered through GolfEx meets the standards he expects in his own bag.

Coaching & Fitting

Joe

Joe is a third-year PGA Trainee with a growing reputation for his calm, clear, and player-focused approach. Despite being just 21, he already has over three years of hands-on experience across multiple pro shops, working alongside highly respected PGA professionals in both coaching and custom fitting environments.

Joe delivers structured, easy-to-understand golf lessons for players of all abilities from beginners picking up a club for the first time to experienced golfers looking to improve consistency and performance. His coaching style focuses on simple, practical changes that lead to long-term improvement.

Alongside coaching, Joe offers a modern custom fitting service, ensuring every golfer is matched with equipment that suits their swing and goals. With full PGA qualification just months away, Joe is passionate about helping golfers play better, enjoy the game more, and get the most out of their equipment.

operations & fitting

Toby

Toby is our in-house club tinkerer and a key part of the GolfEx team. Known for wanting to test just about every club that comes through the shop, he brings genuine curiosity and hands-on experience to everything he does.

A low single-digit golfer (and closing in on scratch)! He enjoys working with customers in store to help them build the right bag and get properly fitted into equipment that suits their game.

Alongside his technical knowledge, Toby has a real passion for social media and plays a big role in creating and contributing content across our platforms helping showcase GolfEx and the equipment we offer.

Refund policy

Return Policy and Rights to Change Your Mind

  1. Refund & Returns Policy

    Change of Mind / Returns
    If you’d like to return an item, you have 14 days from the date you receive it to request a return.
    To qualify, the item must be in its original condition, as it was when received.

    Please note: return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the product is faulty or we’ve made an error.

    How to Start a Return
    To arrange a return, please email us at lewis@golfex.co.uk

    Once your request is approved, we’ll send you the return address and instructions.
    Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

    Faulty or Incorrect Items
    Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If you find an issue—such as damage, a fault, or an incorrect item—contact us right away so we can put it right quickly.

    Exchanges
    The fastest way to exchange an item is to return it for a refund and place a new order for the replacement.

    Refunds
    We’ll notify you when we’ve received and inspected your return.
    If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few days for your bank or card provider to process the refund.

    If an item shows significant wear or damage, a reduced refund may apply.
    For brand-new clubs, a partial refund will be issued if the original wrapping or cellophane has been removed.
    Return shipping will only be covered for items that are faulty or not as described.
